Terms of Service

1. The Service

Allo is an AI-powered phone receptionist provided by Rexie Labs LLC ("Rexie Labs", "we", "us"). When you ("Customer") subscribe to Allo, we provision a phone number, configure an AI assistant using the business information you provide, and answer inbound calls on your behalf. These Terms govern your use of Allo and the Rexie Labs website.

2. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the business you represent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity on your account. You must provide accurate business information; the AI will relay that information to your callers verbatim.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Allo is billed as a monthly subscription through Stripe. Each plan includes a per-period call limit. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial; a valid payment method is required at signup and you will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

If you exceed your plan's call limit, additional callers will hear a brief unavailability message until the next billing period. To continue answering calls, upgrade to a higher plan.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Allo to (a) make or facilitate outbound calls without the recipient's consent, (b) handle protected health information ("PHI") covered by HIPAA, (c) process regulated legal, medical, or financial advice, (d) violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or any other law, (e) engage in fraud, harassment, spam, or calls to emergency services, or (f) attempt to reverse-engineer the Service.

HIPAA notice: Allo is not HIPAA-compliant and Rexie Labs does not sign Business Associate Agreements. Do not use Allo for medical or dental practices that handle PHI.

5. Calls, recording, and transcription

Every call answered by Allo is transcribed and summarized by our AI for your dashboard. The AI discloses to each caller at the start of the call that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is transcribed for quality. You are responsible for complying with any additional call recording or AI disclosure laws that apply to your jurisdiction or your callers'. We do not currently store call audio.

6. Third-party services

Allo relies on third-party sub-processors for telephony, AI speech and language models, payment processing, infrastructure, and error monitoring. By using Allo you agree that your call content, caller phone numbers, and account data will be processed by these providers under their respective terms. We isolate your phone numbers and carrier billing behind a dedicated sub-account so your usage does not commingle with other customers'.

7. Emergency calls

Allo is not a replacement for traditional telephone service and should not be used to place emergency (911) calls. Your Allo number is configured with an emergency address for carrier compliance, but callers in distress should dial 911 directly from a standard phone line.

8. Customer data and ownership

You retain ownership of the business information, call transcripts, and caller records stored in your account. You grant Rexie Labs a license to process that data solely to operate the Service. We will not sell your data. You can export your data and close your account at any time by emailing hello@rexielabs.com.

9. Service availability

Allo is currently in beta. We aim for high uptime but make no service-level guarantees at this stage. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Twilio, OpenAI, Stripe), and other factors may cause interruptions. We recommend maintaining an escalation number so callers can still reach you during outages.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or abusive use. Upon termination, your phone number is released back to the carrier and your data is retained for 30 days before deletion, unless legally required otherwise.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". Rexie Labs disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for missed calls, misrouted calls, incorrect AI responses, or lost business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on file. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and contact
